NASCAR driver and 2016 ARCA Racing Series champion Chase Briscoe recently posted a story on Instagram to wrap up the year. The post features a picture of him and his wife, Marissa Cooper Briscoe, standing in front of a Christmas tree, humorously captioned as their “last pic together until next year.”
It has certainly been a memorable year for the Briscoes. In October, they welcomed twins, expanding their family, which already included their three-year-old son, Brooks.
“Briscoe wrote in his story, ‘This is likely our last picture together until next year.'”
Regarding Chase Briscoe’s 2024 racing season, he competed in the No. 40 Ford for Stewart Haas Racing and is set to switch to the No. 19 Camry XSE with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025. During the 2024 season, he secured two wins, including the Southern 500 at Darlington, and finished 14th in the NASCAR Cup Series standings.
Briscoe’s achievements include winning the Bill France Four Crown in 2016 and being named Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Xfinity Series (2019), and Cup Series (2021). He was also nominated as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Most Popular Driver in 2017.
Earlier in October, Chase and Marissa Briscoe welcomed twins, Cooper and Colin, expanding their family from three to five. Marissa shared the joyful news on Instagram, where she wrote:
“They’ve arrived! Mama and the babies are healthy 🤍 Thank you, Jesus!”
The announcement was met with overwhelming support from the NASCAR community, with messages from figures like Taylor Nemechek, Marissa Gilliland, and others.
The names of the twins were initially kept private but were later revealed as Cooper Banks and Colin Ivy. The Briscoes had asked their followers for name suggestions for a boy and a girl, with NASCAR journalist Bob Pockrass humorously proposing “Toni and Stewart,” in reference to Chase’s team owner, Tony Stewart.
Before the twins, Brooks Wayne Cunningham Briscoe, the couple’s first child, was born in 2021, two years into their marriage. Brooks’ birth was particularly significant for the couple, who had experienced two miscarriages before his arrival.
At just 3 years old, Brooks is already showing an interest in racing. During a Q&A session on Instagram, when asked about his favorite driver aside from his dad, Chase posted a cute photo of Brooks and tagged Noah Gragson in response.
