Liverpool player Andy Robertson tells his team-mate ‘get your hands off me’ after being choked

A Liverpool teammate has received a message from Andy Robertson on social media.

Following Saturday’s victory at Wolves, Liverpool’s Andy Robertson made light of the situation by telling Curtis Jones to “get your hands off me.”. The left-back was crucial in helping Jurgen Klopp’s team briefly take the top spot in the Premier League standings.

At Molineux, a goal from Hwang Hee-chan gave Liverpool an early deficit.
Without the hosts’ wasteful finishing, the Reds might have been even further behind before halftime.

Ten minutes into the second half, Liverpool, who had recovered, equalized through Cody Gakpo.
However, they had to wait until Robertson scored a rare goal in the 85th minute to take the lead.

Jones participated in the celebrations and seemed to enjoy the Scots’ strike.
In photos, Jones was seen cradling Robertson by the neck as the latter yelled with delight.

However, Robertson later joked that he wasn’t pleased with Jones’ actions and shared the image on his Instagram story.
With two laughing while crying emojis and a red heart emoji, he added the caption “Get your hands off me now” to the picture.

In all competitions, Jones made his 100th appearance for Liverpool.
He assisted in preserving a 3-1 victory, with Hugo Bueno’s late own goal securing the victory and the three points.

Five games into the season, Liverpool is only ahead of Manchester City in points.
With four summer signings, Klopp had to rebuild his midfield because he was playing without Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold on Saturday.

Robertson is inspired by what he has observed in the younger players and newcomers to the squad.
He thinks that once some seasoned stars come back from injury and suspension, things will only get better.

It’s a fresh start, he said, according to TNT Sports.
There are many new players among us, and we also have a new style of play and other things.
We simply feel liberated, I believe.
We have talented, young players, and sometimes you could tell that in the first half when it was time to simply put the ball in play and we were still possibly trying to force it and other things. But in the second half, they simply emerged and played fearlessly, and we made some excellent substitutions.

“Darwin Nunez caused issues, Harvey Elliott caused issues, and Luis Diaz enters the game at halftime.
Since Trent, Thiago, and other key players are still absent, despite having a strong team, we still have holes to fill.

They weren’t on the team today, so we can only get better.
We believe we have a squad that can compete if we keep everyone healthy, so we need to keep proving it.
