Liverpool have strengthened in midfield so far this summer but could seek reinforcements elsewhere at Anfield.
Liverpool are expected to be “aggressive” in their attempts to consolidate their position at Anfield, journalist Dean Jones told GIVEMESPORT.
The Merseyside club have so far focused on improving their midfield in the summer transfer window, but they won’t stop there.

Jurgen Klopp and his recruiting team had to rebuild Liverpool’s midfield in the opening weeks of the spell.
James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have all left the club after their contracts expired, with Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister on the dotted line. The Reds missed out on the Champions League last season so reinforcements were needed before the start of the new season.
Given that Liverpool have lost three players, it wouldn’t be surprising if Liverpool continue to recruit from the middle of the park, but arguably they still have room for improvement in other areas of the pitch.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano recently told GIVEMESPORT that Liverpool will try to sign another midfielder regardless of the future of Fabinho, who are in talks to sign a deal with Saudi club Al-Ittihad, according to MailOnline.
According to journalist Jones, Liverpool could now focus on signing a new defender during the summer transfer window.
What did Jones say about Liverpool? Jones hinted that Liverpool could now move aggressively to improve their defence.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold playing in midfield, the Reds are feeling a bit weak in defense at the moment.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “I strongly expect them to enter that defender market soon and actually become a bit more aggressive when it comes to signing somebody.”
“They feel a bit weak right now, especially if Trent Alexander-Arnold is going to continue playing the role we saw at the end of last season.”
“But yeah, I don’t think it’s a bad thing that Ibrahima Konaté has to worry about his starting spot in this team. “I think you also want other options to work with Virgil van Dijk to ensure Liverpool can challenge for the title next season.”
