2026 Super Bowl odds: Detroit Lions remain one of the NFL's elite teams

The Detroit Lions are among the top contenders for Super Bowl 60 in the 2025-26 NFL season. As the offseason begins for all 32 NFL teams, attention shifts toward next year’s championship, with hopes high for every franchise as they start fresh with a 0-0 record.

For the Lions, the 2024 season ended in disappointment, but their core team is still intact, and they have enough resources to make another run at the title. FanDuel Sportsbook has already posted odds for Super Bowl 60, and the Lions are ranked among the top teams. Here are the top 10 teams with the best odds for next season’s Super Bowl in San Francisco/Santa Clara:

  • Eagles: +600
  • Chiefs: +650
  • Ravens: +650
  • Bills: +750
  • Lions: +1000
  • 49ers: +1500
  • Bengals: +1800
  • Packers: +2000
  • Commanders: +2400
  • Rams: +2800

The Lions have the fifth-best odds overall, and are second in the NFC, ahead of teams like the Washington Commanders, who eliminated them from the postseason in the Divisional Round.

While being a favorite in Vegas doesn’t guarantee success, it reflects the continued positive perception of the Lions. This optimism is understandable, as Detroit still has all six of its All-Pro players returning for the upcoming season, and their defense should be healthier. Although there was a shake-up in their offensive coaching staff, the players will mostly remain the same, and the offense was ranked first in scoring in 2024.

There’s plenty of reason to believe that the 2025-26 season could finally be the year the Lions clinch a championship.
