Peter Crouch names two Arsenal players he hopes will thrive this season

Former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch has expressed his best wishes for the upcoming season to Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice. Crouch admires both players and hopes they will have a successful campaign.

Bukayo Saka has proven to be a key player for Arsenal and has produced some impressive performances over the past season which have been instrumental in the team’s strong performance in the league.

On the other hand, Arsenal recently broke the British transfer record by signing Declan Rice from West Ham. Rice’s stellar performances, particularly in winning the Europa League with West Ham, won him praise as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

Arsenal fans have high expectations of Rice and believe he can significantly improve the team’s midfield. Crouch is among those keen on seeing Rice thrive and taking Arsenal to even greater heights next season.

The ex-forward said on the Peter Crouch Podcast while speaking to Rio Ferdinand:

“I like players who play with a smile on their face.

“I’m looking at Declan Rice, [Bukayo] Saka, [Jack] Grealish.

“They’re the ones you want to do well.”

Just Arsenal’s opinion

Rice and Saka will be very important players for us next season and we expect them to shine. Saka is already an established player for the team and one of the best in Europe, while Rice may need less time to reach his peak form.
