Pedro Neto and Chelsea agree on a €63 million deal

Fabrice Hawkins and Fabrizio Romano claim that Chelsea and Pedro Neto are in advanced negotiations to sign the player.

The Blues are about to sign a new player on the wings. Chelsea is expected to recruit Wolves star Neto, according to Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport. This has now been verified by David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano.

After a strong Premier League season, the attacker has been the focus of intense rumours for months, but few people anticipated that he would end up at Stamford Bridge.

Although Neto has been linked to Tottenham, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, and other west London titans, these connections were few and far between. But it looks like he’s getting close to signing with Chelsea now.

Ornstein claims that Chelsea would pay the Portuguese attacker a staggering €60 million in addition to €3 million in add-ons. The attacker is expected to sign a long-term contract with his new team soon. Neto will be travelling for his check-up.

Pedro Neto and Chelsea agree on a €63 million deal

The Blues have been known to be looking for another winger this summer, therefore it is surprising to hear that Chelsea is in talks to sign Neto.

The massive Premier League teams already have an abundance of wide alternatives at their disposal, but over the last two seasons, not all of them have been very good. In the recent past, Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, and Noni Madueke have not performed consistently well.

Even still, Neto’s conversations with the Blues are surprising because it was assumed that the team would want to recruit a right-footer. Nonetheless, the 23-year-old is capable of playing on the left, thus that position may be considered for him.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Wolves already have a replacement in mind: Carlos Forbes, an Ajax winger. This indicates that Chelsea is moving quickly and covertly to sign one of the most sought-after players in England, and that a deal is almost final.
