Ex-Cowboys star speaks out on Paul-Tyson arrest with video

Paul-Tyson

On Friday night, AT&T Stadium hosted Netflix’s record-breaking Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing event. Following the event, former Dallas Cowboys defensive back Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested on multiple charges.

Pacman was taken into custody on suspicion of public intoxication, resisting arrest, evading arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

After his arrest, Pacman’s legal team stated that he “adamantly denies the allegations” and was eager to present his side of the story.

That opportunity came over the weekend.

Pacman shared a video on his Instagram, documenting a verbal confrontation that occurred just before his arrest in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He captioned the video, “We must talk about this!” and suggested that he would provide more details on the incident during an upcoming episode of his podcast, The Pacman Jones Show.

In the footage, a woman can be heard shouting a racial slur as Pacman and his group walk by. Though it is unclear whether the slur was directed at him, Pacman appears to believe it was. He later confronts the woman in a hotel lobby.

A man intervenes, and Pacman alleges the individual used a slur again before there was a brief, staged exchange of punches with minimal physical contact.

The situation was eventually diffused, but Jones was still arrested.

Over the course of his 13-year NFL career, Pacman played for the Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, and Denver Broncos, though his career was marred by off-field controversies.

Dak Prescott’s injury is a major setback for the Dallas Cowboys and their fans

Dak Prescott's injury is a major setback for the Dallas Cowboys and their fans

The most significant takeaway from the Dallas Cowboys’ Week 9 defeat to the Atlanta Falcons is quarterback Dak Prescott’s hamstring injury. Prescott was unable to finish the game and expressed uncertainty about a swift return in his post-game remarks.

Prescott’s doubts about his recovery were warranted. On Monday, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that Prescott’s hamstring injury is more serious than originally anticipated.

Rapoport’s sources indicate that the injury will sideline Prescott for several weeks. With Prescott out, Cooper Rush, who replaced him on Sunday, is expected to serve as the starting quarterback for the Cowboys during his absence.

This news is a devastating setback for any hopes the Cowboys had of turning their season around.
