Harry Kane Manchester United transfer reports are clarified by Fabrizio Romano.

Fabrizio Romano has clarified the situation with Harry Kane and Manchester United after reports indicate a transfer could happen again.

Speaking on his official YouTube channel, Romano insisted that Man Utd are currently not returning for Kane as the deal is too expensive for them, even though their manager Erik ten Hag is a big fan of the England international.

Find out the details below, as Romano insists United are currently focused on signing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund and one can imagine the Danish youngster is certainly a more realistic target than a star player from a big rival…

Kane would undoubtedly be a huge signing for United if they were successful, but it’s hard to imagine that being realistic, with Bayern Munich certainly more likely.

Spurs are never easy to negotiate and are more likely to sell their stars abroad than to Premier League rivals. Both Luka Modric and Gareth Bale joined Real Madrid for big money over the past decade.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to submit their ‘first official offer’ for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.

Reds boss Erik ten Hag has made Andre Onana his second signing of the summer at Old Trafford after snapping up Mason Mount from Chelsea earlier this summer. A centre-forward is now the top priority for United and transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano (via Football Italia) reports that United are interested in signing Hojlund.

Romano claims United want to get a deal done quickly and secure their third transfer window extension. The 20-year-old is also linked with Paris Saint-Germain, where talks have reportedly taken place with Hojlund’s representatives. The Danish forward has reportedly agreed personal terms with United and the Reds must now agree a fee with the Serie A outfit

Elsewhere, according to ESPN, United have not ruled out signing Jonny Evans on a permanent basis. The former defender has returned to Old Trafford and has signed a short-term deal which will allow him to play for United in the pre-season.

The Reds are said to be “keeping their options open” with Evans, who won’t go to New York with the rest of the first team, but will be in contention against Wrexham in San Diego. Ten Hag is said to be “impressed” by Evans during Carrington’s training sessions. The Northern Irish international was sacked by Leicester City last season following relegation.
