In the months that followed, two men managed to position themselves in front of the group: Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Sheikh Jassim’s bid aims to buy the entire club, meaning the Glazers would leave Old Trafford. Ratcliffe’s offer would see him buy 60% of the Reds and open the door for the American owners to stay, especially Joel and Avram.
