The Manchester United takeover saga continues.

In November, the Glazer family announced their intention to explore the possibility of selling the Reds. In the months that followed, United owners declined to provide an update on the progress of the process.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani are the two bidders hoping to buy the club. It’s a saga that’s been dragging on for seven months now, and it’s still unclear which of the two offerings will be successful. But could today be the day?

As Manchester City to aprove signing with Liverpool 'dream,' Kylian Mbappé makes $261m transfer request.
Sheik Jassim wants to buy the whole club and has sworn to pay off his debts. Meanwhile, Ratcliffe’s offer would result in the Glazer family staying at Old Trafford as he will only acquire a majority stake.

The transfer window is now open and United are set to make their first signing of the summer with the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea.

Other positions need to be strengthened, but it remains to be seen when the acquisition of the club will be finalized and what impact this might have on future business. United stock price soars amid takeover rumors

Manchester United’s share price is up 3.45% over the past five days as the takeover process continues.
The Glazers announced in November that they were seeking further financial investment in United, including the option of a full sale.

In the months that followed, two men managed to position themselves in front of the group: Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Sheikh Jassim’s bid aims to buy the entire club, meaning the Glazers would leave Old Trafford. Ratcliffe’s offer would see him buy 60% of the Reds and open the door for the American owners to stay, especially Joel and Avram.
