Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the transfer of Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch amid interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.
It appears the situation hasn’t changed much in recent days, with Romano reporting that both Man Utd and Liverpool have inquired about the Dutch international.

Gravenberch previously looked like a top contender at his old club Ajax but hasn’t played regularly at Bayern so far, so he’d do well to move on.
The 21-year-old could still boost his career with the right move, and would certainly suit well at Man Utd, where they are a bit short in midfield.
LFC have also had some trouble in that department lately, although they have signed three players in that part of the pitch: Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo.

Fabrizio Romano gives update on three Liverpool transfer targets
Inquiries about Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat have been made by Liverpool, who is also close to signing Wataru Endo from Stuttgart.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s CaughtOffside column on Substack, Cheick Doucoure is a player the Reds like, despite the fact that Crystal Palace wants to keep him and has a high asking price.
Endo appears to be on his way, but Romano won’t completely rule out Liverpool adding another player to that position after a difficult summer that saw the departures of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Endo seems like an underrated talent who could be the perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp’s philosophy, while Amrabat and Doucoure are two other outstanding players who might fit in well.
Nevertheless, despite what has been reported elsewhere, it doesn’t appear that anything with those two players is particularly advanced at the moment.
Wataru Endo, the captain of Stuttgart, is the subject of a formal offer from Liverpool, according to Romano.
The 30-year-old Japanese midfielder is the subject of active and successful negotiations. Given the player’s desire to join Liverpool and the unpredictability of the situation, there are excellent chances that this deal will be completed.
Endo is a very good midfielder, according to reports. He may not be a star acquisition, but it appears to be a good move for a very hard-working, professional player that Jurgen Klopp typically values.
Remember that Liverpool lost both Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, so it’s possible that they’ll sign two players, even if it’s not guaranteed. Also keep an eye out for Liverpool to sign one more midfielder.
