The whole Liverpool team available for West Ham as Jurgen Klopp without eight players

Liverpool return to action on Wednesday night when they face West Ham United in the Carabao Cup at Anfield.

Liverpool will be looking for victory when they travel to Anfield for their Carabao Cup quarter-final against West Ham United tonight.

Manchester United were held to a 0-0 draw by rivals Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, with Jurgen Klopp’s side unable to find a way through the defence. All eyes will now turn to tonight’s new challenge as Liverpool look to progress to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, a competition the club won in the 2021/22 season.

Several key names will be missing from Klopp ahead of tonight’s game, with Ryan Gravenbirch the latest player to be ruled out through injury. The Dutch midfielder struggled during the draw with United, but Pep Lijnders offered encouraging news about his setback on Tuesday afternoon.

“That’s great. “It’s not often that we send a player for a scan and everything is clear,” he said. “Usually they feel something and when we scan, they always find something. Because it was just DOMS, he was tired and that meant he was tired.

“So we have to be careful, but I think we have a chance to train today. It’s very good news. Basically, he plays well, especially against man-marking plays. It helps you catch the ball better. If a player is tired and sluggish, something is wrong. My muscles are not torn or anything, but I feel something because my muscles are tired. We have to be careful. “Hopefully he can train today and we can assess him. He has to do a self-assessment and I don’t know why he can’t be there next week. See you tomorrow.”

Elsewhere, Diogo Jota is set to return but Ben Doak requires surgery and is not expected to return anytime soon. Alexis McAllister has been ruled out until the new year, dealing another blow to Klopp’s squad news. Andy Robertson, Stefan Vaicetic and Thiago Alcantara are out for long periods.

Goalkeepers: Adrian, Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher.

Defenders: Connor Bradley, Ibrahima Konate, Jarrell Quansah, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk.

Forwards: Alexis MacAllister, Andy Robertson, Ben Doak, Diogo Jota, Joel Matip, Ryan Gravenberch, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago Alcantara.
