Both sides are looking to strengthen in midfield and Mikel Arteta’s side are closing in on a record move for West Ham’s Declan Rice, while Liverpool have signed Alexis Mac Allister and triggered Dominik Szoboszlai’s release clause from the RB Leipzig.
However, Klopp and Arteta remain on the lookout for additional reinforcements and both Premier League giants have identified Lavia as a potential option, with the Belgian teenager also attracting interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, while Manchester City have the possibility of redeeming the amount.
