Tyler Reddick’s Wife’s 3-Word Reveal Sparks Concern for Kyle Busch & Kevin Harvick’s Racing Legacy

The NASCAR legends of the early 21st century elevated the sport to new heights. Among them, Kevin Harvick, with his 2014 Cup Series title and 60 race wins, and Kyle Busch, boasting two Cup titles and 63 race wins, stand out. Their sons are already making their mark—Brexton Busch and Keelan Harvick are steadily achieving sprint racing milestones. Yet, the competition for their sons may soon be heating up.

Tyler Reddick had a stellar 2024 season, securing three race victories and reaching the Championship 4. Had it not been for Joey Logano’s strategic fuel mileage and team tactics, the 23XI Racing driver might have claimed the championship. As Reddick strengthens his legacy, his son is showing potential to follow in his footsteps.

Tyler Reddick presenting a new generation threat?
Tyler Reddick and Alexa DeLeon have been together for years, and they were expecting their first child in 2019—the same year Reddick began his Cup Series career with Richard Childress Racing. Little Beau Reddick was intertwined with the motorsports world from the outset. In fact, Alexa made a bet with her husband: if he won the Xfinity Series championship that year, he would get to name their child. Reddick delivered, winning both the coveted title and Rookie of the Year honors. As a result, their son’s name came from a fun and successful racing wager.

Now, Beau is starting to turn his attention toward the world of racing. Although he hasn’t yet reached the age of four, Tyler Reddick’s son is gradually shaping his future path. In a recent Q&A on Instagram, Alexa Reddick responded to a fan’s question about whether Beau wants to be a race driver. She replied, alongside an adorable photo of Beau smiling at the camera, “Yes he does🥲.” This should raise some concerns for Harvick and Busch. In 2024, Keelan Harvick claimed 7 wins in the Legends division, and Brexton Busch recently won a Micro Sprint Championship.

However, Tyler Reddick’s growing success would create an excellent racing environment for Beau. He might even end up becoming a formidable rival for Keelan and Brexton. Only time will tell. Beau’s emerging interest is just one of the exciting updates from recent months. Tyler and Alexa married in August, and soon after, the No. 45 23XI Racing driver claimed the regular season title. His team also scored a significant victory in the NASCAR lawsuit, confirming his 2025 Cup Series seat. Most recently, Tyler and Alexa announced that they are expecting a second child in June 2025.

Beyond Reddick’s influence, Beau is also drawing inspiration from other sources.

Getting inspired by the best

Tyler Reddick admitted that he doesn’t often know what his son’s dreams are. “It’s interesting because he really only talks to Lex about it and doesn’t bring it up with me much,” he shared. He also mentioned that when he was four, racing was his clear goal. That’s not the case for Beau, but Reddick is fine with it. Beau enjoys playing baseball, a passion inherited from Alexa’s father, Jose DeLeon, a former professional pitcher. Yet, Beau’s racing interest could grow from there. Jose DeLeon spent time as a teammate with Michael Jordan during M.J.’s brief stint with the Chicago White Sox farm system.

As the owner of 23XI Racing, Michael Jordan could very well inspire Beau to pursue racing. Hints of this were visible when cheers erupted at Talladega Superspeedway in April 2024. Despite being a six-time NBA champion and Chicago Bulls legend, Jordan celebrated Reddick’s victory with great enthusiasm, as if it meant everything to him. Reddick’s son, Beau, was there too. Jordan lifted him up and asked, “He did a great job. Are you ready to celebrate?” Beau’s enthusiastic response, “Yes!” brought laughter from Jordan.

Clearly, Tyler Reddick’s son is showing all the signs of following in his father’s footsteps. If he does, another significant figure of the next generation could soon emerge.
