According to Report: Liverpool have now made a contract decision on an ‘excellent’ player interested in the Premier League

Conor Bradley is reportedly on the verge of signing a new three-year deal with Liverpool, tying his future at the club amid interest in a move to the Premier League.

According to the Athletic, the Northern Irish international has agreed personal terms on a new deal with Liverpool, with an announcement to be made in the coming days as the Reds prepare to head to the Far East.

Bradley enjoyed a one-year break on loan at Bolton Wanderers last season as the League One side lifted the EFL trophy and moved close to promotion to the Championship, with the Liverpool youngster impressing.

Bradley, hailed as ‘fantastic’ by international mate Jonny Evans, is on his way to becoming a superstar in the right-back position, and there’s a good chance the defender could be used by Jurgen Klopp next season.

The defender played in both pre-season games with Trent Alexander-Arnold starting in central midfield, and the UEFA Europa League could prove to be a perfect training ground for Bradley in the Liverpool system. Indeed, Liverpool clearly see huge potential in Bradley given his role this pre-season, and a new contract for the defender is another big sign that the defender could play a first-team role for the Reds this season.

Bradley can follow Alexander-Arnold and Jones into the Liverpool first team

Liverpool have taken gold from their academy in recent years in the form of Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones, and Bradley looks set to be a similar success story if Klopp promotes the defender.

The full-back proved for both club and country last season that he has the qualities to mingle with the best of them, and next season could be another big one for Bradley’s development.

As mentioned, the Europa League will give Klopp a chance to play with youngsters, and Bradley could be one of the first names on the squad sheet when the competition kicks off later this year.
