Can I make multiple entries?
Yes, participants can create up to three entries per person.
Is The Playoffs Grid Challenge available on mobile?
Yes, you can access and complete your brackets on both mobile web and desktop applications.
Can I create a league?
Participants can form their own leagues to compete with friends or others in the community. Leagues can be public or private, with password protection. To join or create a league, follow the instructions on the Leagues tab, where you can view participants, standings, and points. Creating or joining a league does not affect your eligibility for prizes.
When should I make my picks?
The Playoffs Grid Challenge follows a round-by-round format that matches the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs elimination rounds. Starting with the registration on Aug. 12, each round has a specific period for making picks. For the playoff-opening Round of 16, submit your picks before 3 p.m. ET on Sept. 8. After the Bristol Motor Speedway race, picks for the Round of 12 will be open until 3 p.m. ET on Sept. 29. Following the Charlotte Motor Speedway road course, Round of 8 picks will be available until 2:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 20. The Championship 4 and final round opens after the Martinsville Speedway race and must be submitted before 3 p.m. ET on Nov. 10.
Is there a points system?
Yes, points are awarded each round based on your selections. Participants earn 10 points for each correctly chosen driver advancing to the next playoff round, except for the Championship Round™, where picking the 2024 Cup Series champion earns 40 points. Additionally, five bonus points are awarded for correctly ranking playoff drivers in the finishing order, and one point for finishes one spot before or after. Points accumulate from round to round, and the participant with the most points at the end of the Championship Round wins.
What are the prizes?
The top three eligible entrants will receive cash prizes: $10,000 for first place, $5,000 for second, and $2,500 for third. Track your standings with the live leaderboard throughout the playoffs. Note that being in the top three on the leaderboard does not guarantee winning a prize.
