United have pulled out of David de Gea deal
It was reported this afternoon that David de Gea had agreed a fixed-term contract with United before the club folded.
All the details were agreed but United apparently refrained from approving the move before making an even lower wage offer.
Athletic say De Gea is now considering other options as he has yet to accept the new offers.
Club and player talks are ongoing amid interest from Saudi Arabia, while United have been in contact with Andre Onana’s agents, he added.
Bayern see bid for United goal Kane ‘rejected’
Bayern Munich’s £60m bid for Harry Kane, Erik ten Hag’s top summer target, has been rejected. According to The Athletic, Thomas Tuchel is as interested in signing the England captain as Erik ten Hag.
However, United do not expect Kane to be sold and have turned to other targets, according to MEN Sport.
Talks have taken place with Rasmus Hojlund and there is interest in Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
