Mount’s medical treatment is booked and a €50m bid follows
Mason Mount will complete his Manchester United medical on Monday.
United have achieved a breakthrough with Chelsea in a deal to bring the England international to Old Trafford. He is currently under a £60m contract.
Mount’s move to United from Stamford Bridge appeared unsuccessful earlier this week but a U-turn on Thursday ensured the transfer resumed and the Telegraph have now reported he will receive his medicals early next week.
Personal terms have already been agreed and a five-year contract for the Blues youth team is on the table to be signed.
The 24-year-old will leave London after registering 33 goals and 37 assists in 195 appearances
Meanwhile, United are set to make their first official move for goalkeeper Andre Onana tonight. The first offer is expected tonight, says transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, with talks between the clubs ‘moving fast’.
An offer worth €50m plus bonuses would be accepted, according to the report.
Barella gives his response to Liverpool
Nicolo Barella is set to veto Liverpool’s advances this summer.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the midfielder, who is set to join Anfield for £70m this summer.
However, according to Sky Sports, Barrella tends to stay at his club Inter Milan and become a club legend at San Siro. Liverpool have been linked with a number of alternatives this summer, including RB Leipzig’s Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Hungarian international has been banned 32 times by his country and has a release clause in his contract, which expires today.

The Magpies have held talks with the starlet, the report said, but the Londoners are well placed to secure the signing of the player labeled “a sensation”.
Barcelona and Ajax have also shown interest after he showed his qualities for Turkey against Wales earlier this month. At such a tender age, a move to the Premier League would likely result in a minute-long struggle for the teenager.
